Speaking Engagements

I spent a year with history’s most dominant football team and learned life lessons about leadership, commitment, accountability, giving a perfect effort, humility, sincerity and work ethic. I also learned that Bob Ladouceur’s leadership philosophies resonate in the board room, the factory floor and the home office.

At 24 years-old, with no head coaching or teaching experience, Bob Ladouceur took over a woebegone De La Salle program that had never had a winning season. He retired 33 years later with a career record of 399-25-3 and more undefeated seasons than individual losses. He accomplished this never-before-seen feat in a unique — some might even say unorthodox — way.

There’s a common thread between what you do and what Bob Ladouceur teaches: It’s about bringing people together and making things run smoothly, trying to have a purpose and a continuity to what you do. It’s about making commitments to individuals and to something bigger than yourself. It’s about accountability and constantly raising the bar on excellence. It’s knowing individual attitudes and actions impact the whole. It’s about building a team and creating a culture that spawns consistent excellence in a highly competitive arena.

During speaking engagements, I share the universal lessons I learned and share a formula for success that has resulted in unprecedented success in one of America’s most competitive sports.

I would like to thank Bill Verhelle for the kind words below:
